What we are building is no longer just a vision—it is actively taking shape.

Expanding Our Reach Through New Partnerships

This month, OnWatch TV secured several new contracts, expanding our footprint in media production, live streaming, and content distribution.

Each new partnership represents more than business growth—it reflects increasing trust in our ability to deliver high-quality production and meaningful storytelling.

Developing the Next Generation of Creators

A major highlight of April was the training of a new cohort of interns, strengthening our commitment to workforce development in media.

These emerging creatives are not just learning—they are being prepared for real industry pathways.

Through this initiative, interns will have the opportunity to pursue professional certification programs offered by Yellowbrick, which collaborates with New York University Tisch School of the Arts to provide accessible, industry-informed training in film, media, and creative disciplines.

March was a powerful month of visibility, engagement, and forward movement for OnWatch TV.
From being featured on public media to creating real-world experiences for students, the work continued to bridge media, education, and opportunity in meaningful ways.
OnWatch TV Featured on KVCR
On March 26th, Dr. Tayari Kuanda was featured on KVCR Public Media’s Black Perspectives IE, bringing OnWatch TV into a broader conversation centered on culture, equity, and impact.
The interview highlighted the mission behind the platform:

Bringing Students Into the Industry

If it felt like OnWatch TV was a little quieter online this year, there’s a simple reason for that: we were busy working.
While we may not have posted every step of the journey, the cameras were rolling, the lights were on, and the work continued—across classrooms, community spaces, stages, studios, and live events. 2025 was a year where OnWatch TV leaned fully into its purpose: amplifying voices, building access, and creating opportunities through media.

Behind the Silence: OnWatch TV’s Strategic Pause and What’s Coming Next

If you’ve noticed a quieter-than-usual presence from OnWatch TV over the past few weeks—don’t worry. It wasn’t a break... it was a build.
From mid June into early July, OnWatch TV entered a brief but intentional strategic content slowdown. This period allowed our team to step back from weekly content drops and livestreams in order to focus on something equally important: organization, planning, and preparation.
Organizing Our Digital House
With hundreds of hours of video content, interviews, community events, performances, and student productions under our belt, our first goal was to organize and archive our vast media library.
This process included:
Reviewing and archiving previously aired content
Tagging and categorizing video assets for easier discovery
Cleaning up metadata for searchability across platforms
Backing up critical footage for long-term preservation
Updating OnWatchTV.net and Streaming Playlists
While the content was being archived, our team also took time to refresh and reorganize OnWatchTV.net and our streaming playlists across Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and VIDAA TV.
Users will soon notice:
New category layouts and featured sections
Updated content rotation schedules

The Event That Almost Wasn’t:

OnWatch TV supports SCORE, the students it serves and our communities year round. After the completion oour 2nd Annual HD Community Health Fair. I was sitting with my family playing dominoes. My wife who doesn’t play said she wanted to learn how to play the game. Of course I agreed that I would help her learn. Immediately following my statement, as I am prone to do, I thought about how I could help more students with scholarships. I told my wife that I was going to put together a domino tournament fundraiser for student scholarships. I reached out to Dennis of Cali Bones for advice on running a tournament. Once he heard about the purpose and cause of the tournament, he immediately offered his support and services to conduct the tournament. We discussed potential dates and locations. As a proud alum of Victor Valley College, I knew I wanted to host it there and expand the scholarship offering from 10th to 12th graders to include VVC students as well. Anyone who truly knows me, knows that aside from all of my college degrees, I hold VVC in high esteem as the turning point in my academic and professional career. You can read more about that here.

OnWatch TV was in the building—and behind the lens— Friday night, May 25, for a sonic showcase at the iconic Hill Top Tavern, where two powerhouse bands took the stage and delivered a night of raw musical energy, unforgettable talent, and pure High Desert magic.
TANGO KILO: Rock Mastery with a Message
The night kicked off with Tango Kilo, a band that did far more than warm up the crowd—they set the place on fire. Fronted by the incomparable David Mancha, Tango Kilo delivered a performance packed with soul, grit, and vocal brilliance.
We’re not saying it lightly: David Mancha may just be the greatest singer in the world. His vocal range, pitch control, melodic precision, and raw emotional delivery left the crowd in awe. Backing him was a band equally as masterful:
Robby Kauffman on lead guitar, lacing the performance with hypnotic riffs
